Cross it!

Top - A gift for my 22 birthday from my sister, Skirt - Thrifted, Shoes - Rampage, Necklaces  -  1st set was a Birthday gift and the other set I bought for myself on my birthday (without knowing someone had already picked this out for me) so I layered both to give it a more chunky feel.

To go back in time is not a possibility, so I suppose I should embrace the fact that I am now 22 and I don't feel very youthful. I am starting to miss feeling completely careless and worry free but being so consumed with expressive style helps get me through each day with excitement and a sense of playfulness.
Thank the heavens for the creative side if the world.

I also realize my complete laziness must be put on the back burner and I need to post an outfit a day or at least every other day.

I will see you very soon lovely bloggers.

White Flower Dresses and devil hearts

The soft white flower detail on this dress shouts < GIRL. I love the simplicity of the dress and the fact that this is not a form fitting dress balances out the more feminine aspect of the dress. I wanted to pair the dress with something more dark and bulky and not so pretty on the bottom with my vintage heavy clunky shoes. I've had these shoes for sometime and I find them very interesting and they are different which is why I love to wear them, they are not everywhere or the "IN" thing which scores more points with me.

The heart necklace almost slipped by me but the little devilish ears on the heart was too bad to resist.

P.S. Still listening to Best Coast AVIDLY. \/

tis the season for .. SALES SALES SALES

Jacket - H&M - Black button down shirt Thrifted. Black long skirt - borrowed from my Mother. Shoes - gift for my 21st birth day.

In the mist of completing holiday shopping... this jacket happened. I always stay on track when I am doing my Christmas shopping and know to stay away from temptations. There was one thing that caught my attention and at a $10.00 marked down price I was not going to pass on it. The print on this jacket reminds me of spring and early summer, driving by the beach while listening to best coast.
It simply makes me happy and quickly adds something fun and exciting to an all black ensemble.

I can't lie...

Now, let's review.

If Kurt had not been part of this book, something would have seemed off.

If you ask me if this is what I look like, I wont lie. I just wont answer your question.

The coldest winter would not stop me from wearing these shorts. Therefore I am extremely grateful for the invention of tights. The blue denim shorts almost begged me to be paired with this sheer bright white lace up top. I am surprised it took me so long to have this top make an appearance on my blog/ style diaries. This is also the first time anyone has seen my hair 100% natural, it is either always up or being forced to keep straight by the power of heat.

Let me just announce that this book is a whirl wind of inspiration. I have had it for almost two years and display as it should be displayed. Allowing its presence to be known.
I picked a few of my favorite pages to share with all of you. If you do not have it, buy it. If you do have it, please share your favorite pages.

I also may have stuck my foot in my mouth. In my last post I mentioned I would not be drawing on my self too often due to possible health risks. If I had known then that I would become somewhat addicted, I would not have said so. This time my fingers where the victim and the sharpie I used started to bleed, but I still like it.

Until next time my dear readers!

It's not a disco party, yet.

Dress - Guess / Sweater - Vintage / Shoes - H &M / Rings - thrifted & for. XX1 /

The accidental combination of a black, white, and grey snake skin print and mustard yellow turned into a combination I may not stop using for quite some time. I feel the colors flow so well, like a greatly played out rhyme. The idea of creating the illusion of floating dots came because of impatience. As you may have seen in my pant bleaching product, I am not too patient.
I had been craving tights that had this effect but had not come across any I actually gravitated towards. So here we are. I drew the dots and it is probably not healthy but I won't do it every day, I think.

This song is very highly recommended and you have to listen to it or else...
